Illustration Pieces
Beauty and the Beast:
For this project, my group and I decided to create a musical production oof Beauty and the Beast. we chose one scene to focus on, the ballroom scene where the Belle and the Beast had their first dance together. We made props, costumes, a floor plan, and much more. These are the elements I contributed to the project (including this title card).
Still Life:
For my still life I decided to draw gum, a box of Altoids, and a few quarters. I drew this with drawing pencils and blended the graphite out with a blending stump.
Storytelling Piece:
These pictures show my progress from my first sketch to my final product. For my sketch I just used art pencils and a blending stumps. For my final piece I used acrylic, watercolor, and art pens. My piece was about anxiety and I explained what it feels like in my story from my point of view (which is down below).
Diversity Project:
I used colored pencils, a colored pencil blender, art pens, art pencils, and a blending stump to create this piece. This was a diversity piece that showed half a male and half a female of multiple races. I wanted to promote unity and equality no matter what race or gender.
Spreading Awareness: Substance Abuse
This project was all about working in a group to spread awareness on a topic. We chose substance abuse to be our topic and we all designated who would draw which substance; I chose heroine. As a group we came up with sketches on how we wanted the layout to be and I came up with the idea that all the substances lead to the heart. I drew a couple of sketches of what that would look like. We went with this idea and I finished my piece of the project. I used water colors and art pens to create my piece on multimedia paper.
Multimedia Project
This was my final project for my class. I had the instructions of creating a multimedia piece. I used water color, art pens, I created my character in Illustrator so I included a graphic element. I used cardboard to make my project 3D and pop out more. I wanted to make a fun project that was up for interpretation for the viewer.
